For over fifteen years I have worked at the harder end of product design: the enterprise tools teams rely on to manage risk, prove compliance, and defend against threats. These are the products where a confusing screen has real consequences, so the work is as much about judgment and clarity as it is about craft.
At Sophos I lead experience design across the security portfolio, shaping how analysts and administrators move through complex workflows without friction. Before that, nearly a decade at MetricStream gave me the foundations of integrated risk and governance - and a deep respect for the people doing this work every day.
I believe design systems and agentic AI are quietly rewriting how software gets made and used. My aim is steady: help people find a little more joy and a lot more effectiveness through technology that actually works for them.
